Emergency Winter Shelter

We offer a low-barrier, Emergency Winter Shelter program for those who are unhoused and/or housing insecure within the Bow Valley to access safe accommodation and wrap-around, community-based support.

Thanks to the generosity of our funders, donors and community supporters, the Emergency Winter Shelter operated for the fifth and longest season - 151 nights - between Nov 1, 2024 to Apr 1, 2025.

• Gentle reminder: the shelter is closed for the 2024/2025 operating season.

• Check In: 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM

• Check Out: 9:00 AM

• Location: Scout Hall, Canmore, AB

• Food Resources: All guests receive a warm, nutritious and pre-made meal

• First-come-first serve, maximum capacity of 8 beds
