The Homelessness Society of the Bow Valley offers two programs: an Outreach program (available year-round) and an Emergency Winter Shelter (seasonally operated) to provide support to individuals who are unhoused and/or housing insecure within the Bow Valley.
As of April 1st, 2024, the Emergency Winter Shelter is closed for the 2023/2024 operating season. Thank you to our donors, supporters and community members for making our work possible.

CNOY 2024 Fundraiser

We had such a fantastic turnout at this year’s Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser on February 24th, 2024 with 159 walkers, 23 teams and 40 volunteers! We are sincerely grateful to have surpassed our fundraising goal, reaching 125% of our goal, all thanks to the generosity and support from our event sponsors, walkers and donors.

Bottle Donations
You can support us by donating your empty refundable containers. Just take your bottles to a location in Canmore (Canmore Bottle Depot — 103 Boulder Crescent) and specify that you would like to donate to the Homelessness Society of the Bow Valley.
